Chic BATHROOM RENOVATION: Before/After - Ep. 234

- The most challenging room in the Meadow House we had to renovate was most likely the bathroom-from taking up the concrete to rerouting the plumbing; rehoming the water pump to the mind-bending curved shower and equally mind-bending curved shower rod-to salvaging all the travertine tiles that broke to attempting the Moroccan tadelakt process finish (compliments of the skilled hands of @cobtherapy) -this was quite the project.
Sander was on call through the whole process, so he'll take us through the design decisions, what it looked liked before, and what it looks and functions like now.

This is such a cute and functional bathroom for a very small house. Getting the washer/dryer in there was great plus a decent shower. Love the natural light and all the plants.
We are big LOVERS of natural light in a bathroom, which is typically the darkest room in a house.
Such a lovely and peaceful bathroom. Well thought out design. I installed a window in our shower area with a wide ledge for plants, as it was west facing. You’re right, it is such a delight to take a shower with a window in it.
Great hard work paid off. That place is looking amazing. I love that you use wood for the shelves and as other accent pieces. Plants are thriving😍

Morning, Great video, the bathroom is so much bigger than I thought. Lovely light and having the plants has insired me to go out and try something in my own bathroom. When I started watching Plant one on me II had no house plants, I've 11 now. Love the book that came this week 'How to make plants love me" I now want to go to Singapore to see all the green projects. So you are really opening the eyes of this granny, which in turn will open my children and grandkids up to gardening and planting projects. Just wondered if there was a shop to buy the Flock Tshirt or Sweat shirt? Not sure if I missed this info somewhere.
Glad you're learning much from the various channels! Singapore is definitely a WONDERFUL trip. Very quiet city and supremely clean and modern. We finally got the glazing on the bottom of the windows now too, but they didn't make the cut in this video b/c we shot it earlier.
I love that bathroom. The colors and the textures are so comforting. The design is very functional and well done, great job Sander. You guys do great work, I know it's a lot of work but in the future a Amazon store would be nice lol or links to some of the decor used in the house.

I like everything about this interior except for the height at which the rail for the shower curtain is attached - it should be located just above the window, and not where it is now, because now it doesn’t look harmonious 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Why dont you guys in the USA have your geyser inside the bathroom and not inside the roof or outside. Does it not take tomuch space away. OR are you not allowed to have it in your roof or outside
Should you worry about fumes building up in that tight fit closet? Just a thought.
There is an electric water tank in the closet, so it doesn't off-gas. But overall, we have an air ventilation system in the house and have the normal 'stink pipe' that vents out of the house roof, which is required by building code.
Why not a tankless water heater?
Too many minerals are in the water and you would gunk up the tankless water heater very easily.
